Read an article in the local press stating that the Dinos aren't much different than Mtl. They depend much on the run which Laval has the means to shut down quite effectively.

The 50th should be in Vancouver nov 28 as it was such a success in 2011.

Wonder if that can happen with TSN /bell looking after the CFL and Sportsnet/rogers looking after the CIS and Vanier . Maybe if the CFL starts and ends their season earlier we could have the CFL Grey one week and the Vanier the next week and I could have 2 week football holiday !
I like the extra Sportsnet articles on the CIS game this week. Too bad we have to have this stupid turf war .... Bell/rogers

I wish they'd make it available via a free webcast. I'm hoping I can find the jumbotron feed again like last week. Simply too much going on around here on a Saturday to pay $8 to watch a game.

Well congrats to the Hec Crighton winner this year. Don't often see a Bishop's QB winning it.

Holy jeez could the Dinos be any more lucky to be down 1-0 after 1 Q ?

Holding calls against Laval negating some big plays even a TD and Bede hits an upright for no points

Calgary able to move the ball at times but in typical Laval fashion they go no further than midfield.

6-0 Laval at the half. Kudos for not giving up a TD but we are a far cry from last week's Western romp.

Nill's coaching ploy in attempting to freeze Bede backfired when the usually reliable import from France hits the goalpost for the second time (and 3rd miss of the game)...

    But wait!

    Is that a timeout?

Called just in time for the play to be whistled dead with the ball in the air en route to the right upright?

    Yes.

Next try (4 plays later) goes through...:(

But, still...not the blowout many predicted.

Keep hangin' in there, Dinos! ;)
