Through two practices in preparation for the Montreal Alouettes, nothing is decided in the two open position battles with the Calgary Stampeders.

There is one spot on offence and one on defence that is still open at this point, but the Stamps have a couple of days to figure out who will start.

At slotback, for the lucky job of replacing Ken-Yon Rambo, both Marquay McDaniel and Landan Talley are neck and neck to take that job. McDaniel was the first to take the field with the offence the first two days, if that means anything.

“Marquay has done an excellent job,” Stamps GM-head coach John Hufnagel said Wednesday. “We have a decision to make later in the week between he and Landan. Both have had good camps.”
