Great feature from CFL.ca totally covering the upcoming matches, including stats, previous news stories and videos.

Stamps should be Vegas favorites by at least 6.5, possibly as high as 8.5. Some say the Riders are not an outdoor team and guys like Dressler tend to shrivel up in cold weather (can't say I blame them)
Rider coaching staff have faced crisis after crisis during the season with firing looming over the carcasses of both Bobby Dyce and Richie Hall.
The Riders really wanted to get out of the west and play Toronto indoors but the Esks couldn't win last game so that outcome was thwarted.
Only area the riders should have a slight advantage is o-line and that by virtue of canadian content and having a monster like Labatte leading the way. If the Rider o-line is on its game, Sheets could be the difference-maker in a tight rider upset.
If Dressler can't make miracles happen off errant Durant throws, I suspect Cary Koch might be the guy the riders look to.
Other than that, should be Calgary 24, Sask. 18. Riders cover the spread (barely) but don't move on to BC.

Uh, would that be the same Cary Koch who signed as a free agent in Edmonton last off-season and has been with the Eskimos all year? :D

    "Butter tart"?

It's certainly true that it's a well recognized staple of any professional athlete's weight-training regime...

    Better than "Candy-ass" I guess. :p

What the hell is wrong with you??

    - Carey Koch has been in EDMONTON ALL YEAR LONG.
    - the Riders wanted the Calgary matchup, Taman called it out two weeks ago.
    - Weston Dressler is from North Dakota. He won't "shrivel up in the cold".
    - The spread is anywhere from 4.5 - 5.5 depending on which book you use.

Do you just make things up or are you really this out to lunch?

HypoPlopia. It has rendered even the wittiest winnipeger into mush. Fortunately the remedy can now be found on TSN.

Honestly do you really believe Taman would come out and say that they wanted to go the eastern route even if they would have preferred it? I wouldn't blame either the Eskimos or Riders for preferring going east as IMO the odds are simply better to get to the Grey Cup by playing all your games indoors against lesser competition as you can argue the Stampeders and Lions (for sure) are superior to Toronto and Montreal.

Lets face it. The Riders have a chance to beat the Stampeders because of the Stampeders choke factor and possibly weather being an equalizer but I would bet my house that the Lions beat them in BC place the next week. There's simply no way the Riders get to the Grey Cup out of the West.

We've seen the Stamps choke in the playoffs many times so I won't get upset if it happens again. Unfortunately, it's almost expected now... But two things are in our favour. One that is a bloody long win streak the Riders have over us in the playoffs & it is bound to be broken at some point. However, the biggest reason we have a chance to win tomorrow... No Henry Burris.

5 in a row dating back to 1997. Last win was in 1994.
