Not saying this is going to happen. Just making a case as to how it might occur....

    1. Joey Elliott has to have another A game. Not saying he'll rack up BC for 400+ yds passing, but 250 to 320 yds with a positive TD to pick ratio would be helpful.

    2. Wpg's o-line will be preyed upon by BC, so Elliott is caught in the Wally-Trap - hold onto the ball like Brink or Buckster and he'll get his head rocked off, probably fumbling at least twice or throw early anticipating the uneven rush and he'll toss picks, this time caught be defenders with real hands. (not hammy hands)

    3. Plop has to hold his own with Beny VDs; can't let himself get out-coached badly or lose control of the clock. This point is probably as important as #1 and #2, look at how many of PLop's many losses (he's 16-29 or somesuch as a headman) were indirectly related to inferior coaching.

    4. Lulay has to have a B or worse game. Thats the hard part, I can still see BC winning with Lulay having a C or C+ game cuz the bombers can't produce and inevitably lose patience out of frustration and loosen up in the second half. If Lulay starts using his pins to out-leg Wpg's gassed defenders, Harris starts raking up major coin on the ground and Bruce/Simon get involved in the game, the best outcome for the peggers will be a tight loss (10 or less pts) where they held the lead some of the game, took some game-changing dumbass penalties or couldn't produce on key continuation downs.

    5. Wpg's psycho 28,000+ fans are good for at least 6 to 8 points but will that be enough? Don't know!

    6. Guy like Hefney called out BC after the Bombers were thrashed in last year's Grey Cup (inferior team, inferior coaching) and called BC soft. Thats a sure sign for insuring the opponent comes to your park all jacked up - NOT taking a CFL night off....

Anyways, thats the case. Its not that strong but it had to be made.....

Thats the advantage for Sask'n, Al.....having won their first 3 games - even if the Riders get rocked this weekend they'll fall to 3-5. If the Bombers lose, we're 2-6.

Sask'n saves their season by winning both halves of the back to back with Wpg and reverting to 5-5. If the Bombers lose both halves, we're probably 2-8 and mathematical possibilities are analyzed for their balance of season.....

Even if Sask loses this weekend and splits with the peg - they're 4-6 after 10 games. Winnipeg would be 3-7. Still tons of football to play, but you start chasing your arshehole at some point.

Same with the Stamps. They could be 3-7 in a couple weeks as well after their games with the Riders & back to back series with the Eskimos.
