On paper this is a game featuring 2 of the 3 league bottom-feeders (other one being Edmonton)

Bombers got their arse taste handed to them last week vs. the other feeder so they'll over-prepare and under-perform.

Al Brink has never won a game as a CFL starting QB vs. Ricky Ray, who's a notorious hall of fame dink 'n dunker (patience of jove)

Bumb squad will put up a much sterner fight than most expect in their 4th consecutive road game (thanks barf buchko) but will succumb to their noted weaknesses (poor game prep, mediocre adjustments, failure to recognize, inaccurate passing, poor route running, defensive breakdowns, below average special teams blocking/tackling).

Not to mention the constant bomber bug-a-boo - Plop's nervous sideline demeanour and bad clock management.

Ray & Boyd should put some bullet holes in the bombers fragile armour.

    TO - 28
    WBB - 17

Actually I prefer weeknight games to weekend games in the summer. People clear outa town in ev ery CFL city except Regina. Look at the attendance figures this season. Nobody can tell me playing on weekends is better than weekdays in July & August. If I have to choose between a Stamps home game on a Saturday & a weekend in BC, uh, sorry Stamps you lose. Weekdays, I don't have to make that choice.

Since 1998 all of our summer games in montreal have been thursdays or fridays and sundays in the fall.

That's the way it should be. How retarded is it to have a game Saturday afternoon at 5 pm in July?? We did that & had 26,000 in attendance for our home opener. Smallest crowd in nearly 10 years.

I'm gonna be missing the thread tonight. Got an Impact soccer game to go to. Somehow I'm guessing even a soccer game will be more exciting than tonight's tilt. If I feel a slight tremor in the stands that would be all of Manitoba throwing their bomber merch on the ground in frustration. :D

You're going to miss a titanic struggle their deuvy - the bombers will be playing long-prevent all nite long while Ricky Ray tends to his garden of dink, dunk & doink.....Boyd will legally undress Pierre Marc Lopay and Henoc Mumboa when they committ to the wrong (CIS) angle on a power/speed back. Chad Owens should also have at least one monster return vs. a very tepid bomber spec. teams.

If Ray can't sustain a 60 to 64% completion average vs. our group of dupes tonite he should be ashamed.

We really need Cory Watson, Marcellus Bowman, Andrew Douglas, Brandon Stewart, Alexis Suber back so we can get back to being a natural 4-14 to 5-13 team. This group is not even that.

However, I don't expect the boat boys to destroy the bombers tonite - perhaps Toronto 32, Wpg 19 or somesuch.

    Q1. Wpg. 6 - TO 3
    Q2. Wpg. 9 - TO 13
    Q3. Wpg. 17 - TO 23
    Q4. Wpg. 19 - TO 32

Fairly predictable 1st qtr for Bombers -

    1. Lose two top receivers - Matthews, Edwards
    2. Brink gets rim-rocked for a pick.
    3. Bomber front four look like that moving company - 4 small men with no hearts
    4. Plop's offense still tossing airballs to receivers in blanket coverage - once even 6'7" 300 lb Flemons was blanketing poblah.
    5. Jovon Johnson playing half-speed as he was tracked down on a wide FG by a 6'7", 305 lb. monster.
    6. Hefney not playing with any heart (not even 50%) - he'll be cut or traded by end of week.

Bombers still in it but 5 points for bombers almost like 50!

Bomb up with half a minute to go in the first half. 13-11! Already ahead of the Bronko pace.

That was brutal call. He was stopped well short of the first down marker and they gave it to him? Ugly.

Bronks cheer from Bronko - YAY - we're in the match!!!

However, some brutal clock management and decision-making by Brink & Flop in the last 90 seconds. Poor control by bombers after the Owens fumble, Beasley didn't take it to the house, just flopped down. Then the brutal air out to Denmark who ran wrong route and TO picker almost runs it back to the house.

Bombers are in disarray when under time or personnel pressure - gotta put that one on Coach Flop. He keeps doing that over and over again and he'll be coaching lingerie football in the Grossy O'Donnell league (fat-arsed women)

But its not like I didn't expect anything less....

Brink is definitely not IN SINK with his receivers (short or long)

    Poor passing percentage around 36%....

bad decision making, poor game prep and now Simpson nicked up

Brink tossing nicely BUT into double coverage - his receivers are being blanketed while the bombers can't cover Dan Goodspeed....

Bomber special teams not so special. No push, no blocking, no wedge-busting abilities. Both Slop & Milanovich are offensive geniuses with no offense.

Bombers are weak in the front d-4

    Atrocious in linebacking...

    average or worse in DBs

Simpson looks like he's providing his own blocking as his guards are tucked in behind him.

Receivers are confused by Professor Irwin Crowton's abysmal offensive schemes.

Brink is un-nerved as the score remains tight. He's better when the bombers are totally out of it and his play don't matter.[/code]

Difference between Brink & Ray? Ray cam make all the throws while Brink can't.

The Stamps sure do make the Argos look good. Lousy offensive display again tonight.

100% with that. How the bombers even had a sniff of a chance to win goes more to Ray having a poor outing than the bombers having some good.

What was Brink - 2 for 17 in the second half?

    Not gonna get you anywhere
