    Porkey's Ploppers vs. Hankenstein/Cortez Express....

Should be a gooder - Wpg can't use extreme heat as an excuse cuz the landscape is cold.

First time in 10 home games it WON'T BE SOLD OUT. . . . casual bomber fans are very circumspect right now (can u blame them) and when the games feature mostly two and outs, bad reffing, poor coaching, inferior players, short rosters (hello jade etienne) and abysmally bad half-time shows (a regular bomber feature since 1954) there's nothing inviting to fans (other than a $55 cover charge to get to the Rum Hut)

Joey Elliott will break the losing streak, just barely and buy Plop & Joke Mak a bit of a reprieve.....22-20 Bombers

CJOB just announced 3,000 tickets remain for tonite's game which in real speak means there's closer to 4,000 tix unsold....

Hopefully, our management doesn't pull a Blackout Bauer and decide to black out the game locally cuz of unsold inventory.....I wouldn't put it past them, especially if they're trying to force ticket sales for upcoming games. Frankly, if they do that I'll get off the wagon.

here's a scary scenario: winnipeg wins then montreal and toronto both lose in alberta we have a three way tie at 3-4 with winnipeg trailing a game behind. best case scenario for winnipeg.

i would normally think this should be a slam dunk win for hamilton but there just is no such thing this year.

Based on talent, coaching, home crowd, quarterbacking, etc. its an obvious slam dunk for the Hamsters but this is a classic trap game for them and with Fantuz missing they have a built-in excuse for losing.

Also, by letting Wpg off the hook, it kinda saves the season (for now) in the Windy City.

Lots of love for them cuz nobody figures it can get any worse - which would set off a media and fan storm-fire within minutes of game end!

However, if Hank bangs us for more than 350 yds (with less than 2 turnovers) I don't think Joe E. can mount enough offense to overcome that kind of performance.

Bombers are getting some bodies back (even with many guys still on the sidelines) in Alice Suber, Iain Logan (safety), Bowman (3rd game back). Still waiting for Brando Steward to come in and replace the reeling Deon beasley.....

Joe E. leads us to a first quarter single on a gassed Palarsky FG attempt....

At least we got a couple first downs and held Hammy on their second drive (Williams gassed an easy reception)

Elliott looks confused having to listen to Porky or Crowman giving him instructions....

Bombers might be in worse shape than anyone might have thought - two more gas-outs and they'll call CAA - and then Brink comes in (to save the day)

Plop is surely carving out a reputation as one of the worst decision-makers in CFL coaching history!

Bombers don't have much push on their d-line, do they?

At least the punt was good.

In other news Tennessee is up 3-0 in the 2nd inning at the Little League World Series!

Flank gives Plop a bit of a reprieve as he hunkles the bootball just before he crosses the goal! Whatta break for The Sisters of The Poor....

As much as Plop drives me crazy in his poor decision-making, he more than makes up for it with his troubling uncertainty.
